Dr. Shohreh Sharif
Doctor Sharif received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from George Mason University and has been practicing dentistry in the Northern Virginia community for the past 20 years. She graduated with honors from Dental School and further completed a two year residency and received her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Howard University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Sharif has passed the rigorous board certification process and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Orthodontic Society which is the largest educational association in the world serving general and pediatric dentists who practice Orthodontics. Dr. Sharif was awarded the diplomate status by the AOS in 2012 – the highest credentialing available from the organization.
She has been teaching for more than 15 years as an assistant professor at the Howard University’s Department of Pediatric Dentistry. There Dr. Sharif teaches growth and development and early orthodontic treatment to the post graduate residents. She also has hospital privileges at Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia where she treats those patients who require general anesthesia for their dental needs.
